In my role as Senior Program Analyst at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), I have been instrumental in safeguarding the integrity of crime data submitted by contributing agencies while delivering precise crime statistics to stakeholders. My responsibilities include collaborating with the visualization team to ensure the quality of Power BI dashboards and generating internal reports using SAS, Power BI and Excel. I specialize in advanced data modeling and normalization to optimize datasets for analysis and reporting. My proficiency in writing complex DAX measures and parameters has improved the interactivity and functionality of dashboards, empowering stakeholders to uncover meaningful insights. Additionally, I have authored training guides for data analysts and BI consultants, enabling teams to excel in their roles. Using SQL, SAS Snowflake and Python for data querying for regression analysis, I transform raw data into compelling visuals that communicate insights intuitively. My contributions extend to policy development, where I formalized audit procedures for submitting agencies and led BI initiatives that redefined crime statistic collection and fighting across Florida.
